Illegal religious structures demolished in Chandigarh

Several illegal religious structures in the city were today demolished in an anti-encroachment drive, officials said.
The structures which were illegally constructed on public parks surrounding Dhanas mainly in the residential area were removed, an official release said.
As a precautionary measure, more than 300 police personnel were roped in to carry out the drive.
