26-year-old Prateik said the film, which is set in the backdrop of Banaras, is not a heart-rending story and the lovers don't die in it.
"We do not die," Prateik, who stars opposite debutante Amyra Dastur told reporters here yesterday.
Dastur, who has been part of many TV commercials, said she had always dreamt of being a heroine.
"I played in theaters of school and colleges, also in a TV commercial... Director Manish Tiwary made the characters more interesting," she said.
For promotions of the film, the makers will be distributing 'Issaq Jodi Paan' in selected theatres in Mumbai.
