The 21-minute film was shown at Siri Fort auditorium here in the presence of CBI Director Ranjit Sinha and agency's former chief Raja Vijay Karan.
Karan has been the director of the investigating agency between December 14, 1990 and June 1, 1992.
The film uncovers the compelling reality of CBI's current operations.
"This film reveals many unknown aspects of the CBI and dispels common prejudices and misperceptions. It brings into focus the continuing fight against corruption through the experienced voices of dedicated officers, who stand on the frontlines of justice," a press release issued today said.
"From high profile cases that have captured headlines to in-depth undercover investigations, this film tells an exciting story of persistence, bravery and conviction. 'In Pursuit of Truth' brings to light the teamwork, shared values and courage behind several well known cases," it said.
The film, which was produced to commemorate 50 years of CBI's existence, has been produced by National Film Development Corporation in association with Haimark Films International.
