Inclement weather spoils Day 3 action at Green Park

Uttar Pradesh batsmen waited in the wings in vain to add some more runs against Jammu Kashmir as inclement weather forced Day 3 action to be abandoned without a single ball being bowled in the Group A Ranji Trophy cricket match at Green Park, here today.
On the second day, opener Tanmay Srivastava had missed out on a hundred by a solitary run as UP held steady to reach 267 for five in their first innings of the four-day encounter.
Arish Alam (38) and Eklavya Dwivedi (23) were holding fort for the home side when stumps were drawn on Monday.
