As soon as opposition BJP MLAs staged a walk out from the Assembly protesting against deteriorating law and order situation in Bihar, Jyoti Rashmi trooped in the Well and demanded she be allowed to raise the issue of prohibition, which the Speaker disallowed.
The MLA from Dehri then lost her cool and threw down her headgear, overturned chairs and tables before tearing down five mikes from the seats of ruling JD(U) MLAs before Chaudhary called women marshals who evicted her out of the House.
He also moved a censure motion for her suspension from the House till tomorrow and her removal from all committees in which she was a member.
Admitting Kumar's censure motion, the Speaker ruled the errand member would be suspended from the House till tomorrow and would be removed from all committees of which she was a member.
Later speaking to reporters, Rashmi took a dim view of her suspension and said she was raising an issue (prohibition) which was in the interest of everybody, particularly the women.
