Western Command General Officer in Commanding (GOC) Lt Gen K J Singh asserted that "India is fully prepared to counter any threat from its neighboring country Pakistan".
Talking to mediapersons here, he said that "Even though we both (India and Pakistan) have nuclear capabilities, but India is far better from Pakistan in every field".
He claimed that India is ahead in technology part as far as training part of its troops.
He was here to inaugurate a day-long national seminar-cum- penal discussion on '50 years of Indo-Pak war 1965: A retrospection'.
In his keynote address, Maj Gen B S Grewal (Retd) said that war is not a balance sheet, but it is more concern with high-valued territories and Line of Control (LOC).
He also paid tributes to Major Bhupinder Singh for his contribution in 1965 Indo-Pak war.
