The second IYD will be celebrated in the city of Sandwich, an official statement said.
The inaugural ceremony at the Indian Consulate in Chicago was attended by the Mayor of city of Sandwich, Rick Olson.
The ceremony was also attended by other officials of the Sandwich City, members of Indian-American community, and established yoga and spiritual centres.
The Consul-General of the Indian Consulate in Chicago Ausaf Sayeed addressed the meeting along with Olson.
