India reached 105 for two at lunch chasing a victory target of 364 on the fifth and final day of the first cricket Test against Australia, here today.
Australia declared on their overnight score of 290 for five with an overall lead of 363 runs.
At lunch, opener Murali Vijay was batting on 47 off 121 balls with three fours and a six while skipper Virat Kohli is unbeaten on 25 off 37 balls with three fours.
For the home team Mitchell Johnson got the wicket of Shikhar Dhawan (9) and Nathan Lyon dismissed Cheteshwar Pujara (21).
