Compatriots Lidiyamol Sunny and Geethu Raj took the silver and bronze in 2:30:55.69 and 2:30:55.90 respectively.
India had also dominated in cycling in the last edition in Dhaka by winning 3 gold and a silver. Sri Lanka had won 1 gold and 1 silver then.
