The Indian, identified only as J K, reportedly molested the 40-year-old woman in March.
The defendant strongly refuted the accusations when he entered a not guilty plea before the Dubai Court of First Instance today, Gulf News reported.
The worker cried when he contended: "I did not molest the woman. I was on the escalator when I slipped and lost my balance. Then I bumped into the claimant by mistake. I did not intend to touch her."
The woman testified to prosecutors that the incident happened in Jebel Ali Metro station on a Saturday morning.
