According to a press statement issued by the Indian men team coach Chandeshwar Kumar here, while Indian men trounced Pakistan 5-2, the women team prevailed over Nepal 6-1 in the final.
Kumar, also the General Secretary of Jharkhand Roll Ball Association, said Indian team launched its campaign on a winning note beating Sri Lanka and maintained its winning streak to enter in the semi-final round.
In the semi-final, defending champions India humiliated host Bangladesh 7-1 in a one-sided match and cemented its berth for the final round.
In the final, Indian women dominated the proceeding right from the kick-off and did not allow Nepal to surge ahead.
