Indian students to take part in Olympiad at Iran

Four students would leave for Iran in July this year to take part in the International Olympiad in Informatics.
Sasken Technologies Ltd in association with Chennai Mathematical Institute today said the four students had emerged victorious in the International Olympiad in Informatics Training Camp held here recently.
The students are -- Sidhant Bansal, Nalin Bhardwaj from Delhi Public School, Srijon Mukherjee, Amity International School, Noida, Sampriti Panda, SAI International School, Bhubaneswar.
The students would leave for Tehran to take part in the International Olympiad in Informatics, 2017 scheduled to be held from July 28 to August 4, a company release said.

Sasken Technologies has been sponsoring the International Olympiad in Informatics Training Camp along with the accommodation for the Indian team.
International Olympiad in Informatics conducted since 1989 is a global competition of algorithmic and programming skills for high school students with over 80 countries participating every year.
India has won one gold, 13 silver and 29 bronze medals so far, it added.
