An Indian woman who was working as a domestic worker in Kuwait has registered a complaint against her employer, accusing him of physically abusing her, according to a media report.
The Indian woman had a deep cut on the head and bruises on the hands and arms, a report in The Times Kuwait quoted police officials as saying.
The woman, who was not identified, was taken to a hospital by the accused's sister who came to the victim's rescue while she was being tortured, the report said.
The woman later contacted her brother who was also working in Kuwait and he filed a complaint with the police. A medical report of the victim was also submitted to the police.
