Captain Beni Sukandari, the Commander of the Kartikeya Jala Kridaya Task Force is sailing onboard and Commander Rakhmat Arief Bintoro is the Commanding Officer of the visiting foreign ship.
The commander of the task force and the commanding officer accompanied by the Resident DA Indonesia Col (Navy) Arif Harnanto had called on Vice Admiral Sunil Lanba and Rear Admiral RB Pandit, Chief of Staff, Southern Naval Command here on May 12.
"During the visit, various interactions with Southern Naval command have been planned," according to a Navy release.
KRI Banjarmasin (Makassar-class landing platform dock) is enroute to Italy to participate in the World Expo Milano 2015.
