Jharkhand government has convened an all-party meeting on March 30 to know the views of different political leaders before framing a domicile policy in the state.
The meeting is scheduled at 5 pm on Monday at the state secretariat, official sources said here today.
The announcement of the date comes days after the government assured the ongoing budget session of the state assembly that the process would be completed within two months before the state announced its domicile policy.
The government had also said that suggestions from intellectuals and representatives of different groups would be taken.
The assurance came when the members expressed concern over government jobs going to people from outside state because of lack of a proper domicile policy.
