Industrial oil declines on subdued demand

Castorseeds bold and castoroil commercial continued its declining trend at Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today due to subuded demand from shippers and soap industries.
Refined palmolein slipped owing to weak retail buying amidst adequate supply positions.
Meanwhile, groundnutoil and linseedoil remained steady in the absence of any worthwhile buying activity.
In the non-edible segment, castorseeds bold fell by Rs 25 per 100kg Rs 3,900 from last Saturday's closing level of Rs 3,925 and castoroil commercial moved down by Rs 5 per 10kg to Rs 810 as against Rs 815 previously. Linseedoil closed unaltered at Rs 735 per 10kg.

Moving to edible segment, Refined palmolein eased by Rs 2 per 10kg to Rs 550 as compared to Rs 552 last weekend. Groundnut oil closed unaltered at Rs 730 per 10kg.
