While, linseed oil declined owing to lower offtake from paint and allied industries.
In the edible segment, refined palmolein moved down further on sustained retail buying support.
Meanwhile, groundnut oil ruled steady in the absence of any major buying activity.
The castorseeds futures rates were unavailable.
In the non-edible section, castorseeds bold advanced by Rs 10 per 100kg to Rs 4,025 from last Saturday's closing level of Rs 4,015, castoroil commercial added by Rs 2 per 10kg to Rs 835 from Rs 833. However, linseedoil slipped by Rs 5 per 10kg to Rs 845 as against Rs 850 last weekend.
