In a filing to the BSE, Infosys said its Board of Directors will meet on October 12, 2015 to consider the audited financial results for the quarter and half year ending September 30, 2015.
Its larger rival, Tata Consultancy Services will announce its earnings for the second quarter of 2015-16 fiscal on October 13.
Wipro, the country's third-largest software services firm, will release its numbers on October 21, 2015.
While historically, Infosys had always been the first to declare quarterly results among the big four IT firms in the country, in April this year, it moved away from the practice.
Infosys usually announces its results in the second week after the end of the quarter.
