Inoue, Bhatia make second round qualifying in Asian Juniors

Kairi Inoue of Japan scraped past Suyash Gupta while Armaan Bhatia edged out Christan Cummings in three sets in the boys first round qualifiers of the ITF Asian junior tennis championship here today.
Inoue won 3-6 6-1 6-4 , while Bhatia carved out a 7-5 6-7(4) 6-2 win to enter the second round of the boys qualifying stage.
In another match Fayyaz Hussain Quadri of Aurangabad got the better of Sundar Arvind 7-6(4),6-3.
In the girls event eighth seeded Vaidehi Chaudhari thrashed Aarja Chakraborty 6-1 6-1 while Riddhi Ramesh Sharma ousted Navi Mumbai girl Sanjeevani Patil 6-4 6-2.
