Institute of Military Law's advanced course inaugurated

A new course of the Institute of Military Law, which imparts advanced knowledge on military laws to officers of the Indian Army, Indian Navy and National Security Guards was inaugurated here today.
The course was inaugurated by Justice Anand Vasant Nirgude of the Bombay High Court, at the Institute of Military Law, Kamptee.
Officers handling legal and judicial affairs of the forces are trained to conduct court martials by military courts, preparation of the prosecution case, including framing of chargesheets, handling of disciplinary affairs and effectively defending litigation before various courts, including armed forces tribunals, an official release said.
