Insurance employee commits suicide in Kanpur

An insurance employee allegedly committed suicide here after having an argument at his workplace, police said today.
The deceased, Ashok Gyan Chandani (54), who was deputed as a group auditor at LIC, committed suicide at his residence in Shastri Nagar last night, they said.
When his wife returned home from a religious ceremony, she found her husband hanging from the ventilator of their residence, they said.
Chandani's wife told police that her husband had an argument with the senior officers at his workplace and they had threatened to expel Chandani, they said.
Police has sent the body for post-mortem.
