Intense heat in parts of Raj, Sriganganagar sizzles at 46.5

Hot weather conditions prevailed in parts of Rajasthan with Sriganganagar being the hottest place in the state recording a maximum temperature of 46.5 degrees Celsius.
Very light rains occurred at isolated places in the state.
Barmer recorded a high of 46.4 degrees Celsius while Churu and Jaisalmer registered maximum temperatures of 46 degrees Celsius each.
Day temperatures in Kota, Bikaner and Jodhpur was 45.8 degrees Celsius, 45.5 degrees Celsius and 45 degrees Celsius, the MeT department said.
The weatherman has forecast similar weather conditions till tomorrow.
