Intermediate student commits suicide

An intermediate student, who was to appear in the ongoing final examination, was found hanging from a branch of a tree in Chiyanchi locality in Medininagar in Palamau district, police said.
18-year-old Prince Kumar has left home in the morning and found hanging from a branch of a tree near a wax factory in the backside of his home, police said.
A resident of Ranka in adjoining Garwah district, Kumar's father Suryadev Yadav was a para-teacher while his mother Rani Devi was a member of a Panchayat Samity.
Kumar was living in Medininagar with his younger brother, Sachin, in a rented house.

Sachin said Kumar has left home in the morning but did not return even before the start of his examination today.
In an attempt to search for him from the roof-top, he noticed a body hanging from a tree and found to be his brother.
Prima facie, Police Superintendent Y S Ramesh said it seemed to be a case of suicide but waiting for the post-mortem report to confirm whether there was any foul play behind the incident.
