Intertek launches unique mobile lab for testing Textiles

Quality solutions provider Intertek has launched Indati, the first-ever mobile textile testing lab in the country.
"Indati will help manufacturers meet the customer demand for high-quality apparel products, while delivering the convenience of on-site testing," a release said.
The mobile textile testing lab, which was launched yesterday, will serve retailers, brands and manufacturers of adult apparel, children's apparel, fashion accessories and household textiles to ensure that their products meet safety, regulatory, quality and performance standards.
"The Lab on Wheels is a unique concept that will help support Indian retailers to realise testing cost efficiencies and also provide access to quality testing of their products at their doorstep".

"The home delivered support will help manufacturers improve competencies and enhance acceptability with global brands," Regional Managing Director of Intertek, South Asia Rajesh Saigal said.
