Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das today said investments made in any sector should be in the interest of the labour force as both were important in the progress of the state.
"Investment is important, so also the action put in by mazdoor (labour force). So investments should be in their interest," Das said here.
Introducing a slew of schemes to mark the International Labour Day, he said industrial development was required for Jharkhand as most of its part was rocky.
Stating that his government's priority is to uplift the poor, he reiterated his government's commitment to make Jharkhand developed and ensure all welfare schemes being completed in a time-bound manner.
"Women in Jharkhand are hard workers and the government will connect women self-help groups with government schemes," he said.
Secretaries of different departments should visit villages two days in a month to ascertain progress of the implementation of schemes, he said.
