IOSCO securities regulators and its other members on six continents will provide a range of activities from 2-8 October 2017, like launching investor-focused communications and services, promoting contests to increase awareness of investor education initiatives.
Among others, they would organise workshops and conferences, and conduct local/national campaigns in their own jurisdictions, IOSCO said in a statement.
IOSCO (International Organisation of Securities Commissions) is the leading international policy forum for securities regulators and is recognised as the global standard setter for securities regulation. The Indian markets regulator Sebi is a member of IOSCO.
