They were arrested from a flat at Vrindavan Green Apartments of Rajendra Nagar, Sahibabad around 11.45 PM last night, said SP (City) Aakash Tomar.
"Acting on a tip-off, the crime branch team conducted a raid at a flat in Rajendra Nagar and arrested Paras Narang, Anshul Jain, Amrish Mittal, Ashok Kumar and Vipin Goel, while they were engaged in online betting," he said.
Police have recovered a laptop, an LCD TV, a Wi-Fi modem, two calculators, 15 mobile phones, three chargers, 8 note books and Rs 12,000 in cash.
