Irregularities in DSSSB recruitment, ACB registers case

The Anti-Corruption Branch has registered a case in connection with alleged irregularities in the examinations conducted by the Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) for recruiting officials.
The case has been registered under relevant sections of Prevention of Corruption Act, on a complaint alleging malpractice and irregularities committed during examinations conducted for the post of Grade III level officials, a source said today.
The complainant has made 15-point allegations including that the people in the Board made money by selecting candidates through unfair means.
Also, out of the 42 selected candidates, 21 were close relatives, 70 per cent of them were resident of outer Delhi areas which include Narela, Bawana and Kanjhawla and belonged to same community, the source added.
Delhi ACB headed by Jt Commissioner M K Meena, who had been at the loggerheads with the Arvind Kejriwal government.
