The issue of ISIS threat is likely to be part of talks between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and UAE leadership which considers the terror group as a major threat.
Modi will arrive here tomorrow on a two-day visit, the first by an Indian Prime Minister in 34 years, and will hold talks with the leadership of world's second largest Arab economy.
When asked whether the issue of Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) will figure in the talks, official sources said UAE sees the terror group as a major threat and will take every measure to counter it.
The Prime Minister will kick off his visit by paying a visit to Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, a key place of worship which is considered one of the largest mosques in the world.
A key centre of Islamic culture, the mosque is known for its architectural masterpiece of Islamic architecture design. Constructed from 1996 to 2007, the mosque can accommodate around 40,000 people.
After visiting the mosque, Modi will meet a group of Indian workers here.
During his overnight stay here, Modi will also travel to Masdar City, a zero carbon and hi-tech city created as per concept of cleaner and greener tomorrow.
During his visit, Modi will seek to enhance cooperation in energy and trade and reach out to investors to promote India as an attractive business destination.
Given that late Indira Gandhi was the last Indian Prime Minister to have visited United Arab Emirates in 1981, Modi's trip is being seen as an opportunity to boost India-UAE ties in key areas of trade and security.
