Israel envoy calls on Punjab Governor

During the meeting, Patil said India and Israel have long standing bilateral relations based on shared democratic and social values, and stressed upon joining hands to cooperate in various fields, especially in the area of solar energy.

Patil further stressed that Punjab has achieved a major breakthrough in agriculture and allied fields and, the state is emerging as a vibrant investment destination.

He informed Ushpiz that the state has evolved a mechanism for promoting innovative agricultural practices with the help of its farm research institutes.
