An Israeli delegation will be travelling to India next week to share their "know-how" and experience in the cyber front with the Indian counterparts.
According to a statement by the Israel Embassy in India, it will be a first-of-its-kind delegation, which is being led by Israel National Cyber Directorate in collaboration with the Israeli Ministry of Economy and Israel Export Institute.
They will be visiting India from Monday for two days and the delegation comprises of 25 delegates representing 13 leading Israeli companies.
"The aim of the delegation is to share Israeli know-how and experience in the cyber front with the Indian counterparts in general and critical infrastructure entities in particular such as banks, telecommunication companies, government institutions, oil and gas and transportation systems," the statement said.
The focus will be on exploring the potential of India-Israel partnership on cyber infrastructure. Later, there will be B2B meetings between both the sides on December 17, it said.
"There is a great potential for India and Israel to establish a global presence together in the field of cyber security through bilateral initiatives that encourage investments in each other's economies.
"Our business communities are already forging strong ties. We must continue to share the knowledge our respective countries accumulate as we advance into the future of cyber technology and cyber security," Ambassador of Israel in India, Ron Malka, said.
