"We have received many requests from the public to name important buildings of ISRO after former President Abdul Kalam and these will be considered," S Rakesh, Director, ISRO Propulsion Research Centre at Mahendragiri, said.
Kalam was associated with the Indian Space Research Organisation in its early days.
On the GSLV D6 scheduled launch on August 27, Rakesh said all work is progressing satisfactorily.
He was speaking after inaugurating 'Science 2015' programme here, where students explained their projects.
