IT-enabled control room for drinking water supply complaints

With complaints about problems in supply of drinking water set to soar during the peak summer, an information technology-enabled 24-hour control room was launched in the district today to enable public to seek redressal.
The public could lodge their complaint regarding drinking water supply by contacting the help line phone number 1077 or sending sms to 8903891077, District Collector K Vivekanandan said launching the control room.
Public should avail the help line service system to solve drinking water supply problem if any in their area instead of resorting road blockades, he appealed.
