The 22-year-old "Dangerous Woman" hitmaker said she respects the opinions of her loved ones and knows they only want what's best for her, reported Female First.
"My family is so important to me it would be hard to date someone they didn't like. Your family only ever wants what's best for you, so try to remember that," she said.
The pop star feels opposites attract, but she will never date someone who didn't like her music.
"It's really true that opposites can attract. As long as you are both interested in getting to know each other's passions, it can totally work. Except if he didn't like my music."
