ITA contributes Rs 51.45 lakh to CM's Relief Fund

Indian Tea Association (ITA) has contributed a further Rs 51.45 lakh towards Assam Chief Minister's Relief Fund taking the total contribution to Rs 1 crore during the year 2013-14.
The cheque was presented to Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi by ITA Chairman Arun N. Singh here last night, an official release said here today.
ITA would work in close cooperation with Assam government for the sustained growth and development of the tea industry in the state.
The Chief Minister thanked the ITA for discharging its corporate social responsibility.
ITA Assam branch Secretary Dhiraj Kakati was also present on the occasion.
