Ajitesh Argal (1-34) gave the hosts the first breakthrough as he cleaned up Dhawal Kulkarni for 3. Sagar Mangalorkar (1-61) then trapped Shrideep Mangela LBW for 11.
Opener Akhil Herwadkar (67) then stuck around for a while to share a 57-run partnership with Iyer before being scalped by Hardik Pandya (1-31).
