J&J to set up Rs 400-crore plant near Hyderabad in Telangana

Consumer and healthcare major Johnson and Johnson would set up its largest manufacturing facility yet in the country with an investment of Rs 400 crore near Kothur in Telangana.
The company will manufacture personal hygiene and skincare products at this plant, it said in a statement.
The plant design will incorporate many innovative elements to ensure energy efficiency, water consumption patterns and waste management in a sustainable manner, it added.
Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao laid the foundation stone for the new plant, which would be spread over 47 acres.
