Militants barged into Mohammad Ramzan Parray's house and shot him dead. Two of his family members sustained injuries in the attack. The jawan, who belonged to the 73rd battalion of the BSF, was on leave.
Mufti said that it was regrettable that the unending cycle of violence in the state was taking a heavy toll. She appealed to all segments of the society to join in putting an end to it.
