Post Master General (CPMG), a spokesman for the Department of Posts (DoP) today said.
Chandra Prakash, the Postmaster of Delhi Circle has been appointed as the new CPMG of the state. He replaces John Samuel, the spokesman said.
Samuel, has been transfered as the Director, Postal Staff College of India, Ghaziabad, he said.
Samuel was instrumental in given a modern identity to DoP in Jammu and Kashmir and brought people closer to the department, resulting in increase in revenue and opening several modern computerised post offices, he added.
