Hardline Hurriyat Conference today said the Jammu and Kashmir government has lost the "moral ground" to remain in power after the Centre's "rejection" of the demand for transfer of power projects to the state and sought Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed's resignation over the issue.
"He (Sayeed) has no justification to remain in power. Not only he promised return of the power projects in his election manifesto but also talked about the issue while forming a coalition with BJP," Hurriyat said in a statement after a meeting here.
