J-K govt refers 7,000 vacancies in education dept to PSC, SSRB

To provide adequate teaching staff in institutes across the state, the Jammu and Kashmir government has referred 7,000 posts to Public Service Commission and Service Selection Recruitment Board (SSRB).
Replying to a question in the Assembly today, Deputy Chief Minister Tara Chand said 5,000 promotions have been made in Gazetted and Non-Gazetted cadre in Education Department recently and 7,000 posts have been referred to SSRB and Public Service Commission to provide adequate teaching staff in institutions of Jammu and Kashmir.
