"A newly established Soil Testing Laboratory has been setup in Samba. It was recently inagurated by The Minister for Agriculture Production, Ghulam Nabi Lone", Director, Agriculture Jammu, Sudesh Koul said.
The Soil Testing Laboratory has been set up at a cost ofRs 50.40 lakh under Soil Health Mission Scheme and has all modern facilities, Koul said.
The lab is equipped with AAs, UV-Visible Spectrophotometer and instruments with a capacity of 4500 samples annually, Koul, who took over a Director of Agriculture last month, said.
