J&K Guv, CM greet people on Holi

Jammu and Kashmir Governor NN Vohra and Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti today greeted the people on Holi and hoped that the festival of colours would be a harbinger of peace, progress and prosperity in the state.
In his message of felicitations, the Governor observed that the celebration of festivals, an important part of our rich cultural heritage, strengthens the bond of brotherhood and amity.
He expressed hope that this Holi would spread happiness and joy all around and promote harmony.
Wishing a 'Happy Holi' to the people, the Governor prayed for their well-being and prosperity.
In her message, the Chief Minister said Holi symbolises the rich cultural heritage and tradition of our society besides the spirit of mutual love and affection among people since ages.

Mehbooba hoped that the festival brings in joy, happiness and societal integration among people of the state.
