Rowling shared a photo of her chair from the set on social media.
Production on the sequel began earlier this summer, and the plot, written by Rowling herself, will follow magizoologist Newt Scamander (a returning Eddie Redmayne) and young Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law) as they team up to take on the notorious dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald (Johnny Depp).
Original "Fantastic Beasts" cast members Katherine Waterston, Alison Sudol, Dan Fogler, and Ezra Miller are also set to return, along with director David Yates.
The movie is set to hit the theaters on November 16, 2018.
