Jammu and Kashmir Youth Congress today hit out at BJP for maintaining silence over the issue of police brutality on students of NIT Srinagar and said it has exposed the "anti-national" face of the party.
"Silence on police brutality on NIT students has exposed real anti-national face of BJP, it has inflicted inhuman atrocities by its police force on those students who dared to hoist the tricolour in the campus of NIT Srinagar", Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Youth Congress (JKPYC) President Pranav Shagotra said here.
The NIT Srinagar campus had become tense following clashes between local and outstation students after Indian cricket team's defeat to West Indies in the World T20 semifinal.
