All the injured, including Himanshu Shekhar Choudhury, Political Advisor of Chief Minister Hemant Soren, Jitendra Kumar, Officer-in-charge of Bistupur Police Station, Kaushal Kumar Singh, reporter of News-11, were admitted to the Tata Main Hospital.
Incidentally, Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren, who put up in the same hotel, took another lift to reach the ground floor from the sixth floor when the mishap occurred.
Before leaving for Ranchi, Soren visited the hospital and enquired about the injured persons.
"We have asked for all relevant documents to ensure whether the hotel authority have complied with the security norm," he said.
When his attention was drawn to the incident in which one lift in the hotel was stuck when Soren was also in the hotel a week ago, Sahay said they would enquire.
