J'khand Govt wants farmers to grow three crops a year: CM

Jharkhand has put agriculture among the priority list as the state government intended to help farmers grow three crops in a year, Chief Minister Raghubar Das said today.
"Works in agriculture, industry and information technology has been put on fast track for all round development of Jharkhand," Das said.
"Agriculture is being put in the priority list as the government wants farmers to cultivate three crops per year," the Chief Minister said.
Speaking after inaugurating the Patratu unit of Burnpur Cements Limited, about 30 km from here, Das said animal husbandry and horticulture would also be given importance.
Stating that Ranchi and Adityapur-Haatgamaria (East Singhbhum) would be made hubs of information technology and automobile respectively, Das said the government was also working on the development of tourism.
