Congratulating Speaker Dinesh Oraon for organising the programme, Murmu said the Speaker is serious and cautious on issues pertaining to social interest, according to an official release quoting the Governor.
The children are the future of the nation, she said adding, it is necessary to impart proper education alongside better guidance and sufficient opportunities, so that their capacity develops fully.
Many youth are being cheated and falling victim to trafficking and are being exploited, Murmu said.
The government has several schemes to stop child labour and for their successful execution, NGOs have to work pro-actively along with different departments, she said.
