Participating in the third meeting of governing council of Niti Aayog, Das also thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for adopting a policy of cooperative federalism, which he said, has given a new direction to the state.
Speaking about the developmental work done in the state during the meeting, Das said Jharkhand is using the funds wisely given by the Centre.
It also include providing energy for all, wide sanitation and drinking water availability, plans for marginalised class and areas among others, he said.
Noting that skilling the youth is his government's "priority", Das said the provision for a mega skill centre has been done in all the districts of the state.
Das said Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP) growth rate during the FY 2016-17 has been 12.1 per cent which is "more" than the national average.
In order to increase the per capita income from Rs 62,816, the government has focused on poor welfare which is why silk, lac, steel and cottage industries are being developed.
He said 1.30 lakh mahila mandals have been formed for production and marketing of things while the government has approved 3 milk chilling points each having the capacity of 5,000 liters, one of which was inaugurated by the Prime Minister.
"At the same time, the government is trying to establish an agriculture science center in every circle. One cold storage is being established in every district. In the last two years, 2,000 ponds were deepened and 6 lakh pond farms have been dug.
"30 irrigation schemes are being rejuvenated with the expenditure of Rs 263 crore. In the last two years, the government has approved 34 schemes of 1,197 crore to irrigate 63,550 hectare land. Detailed Project Report (DPR) has been made for the remaining 20 schemes which will be approved by May 31," the statement quoting the chief minister said.
"The government has reserved 33 per cent posts for women in police. From 2017-18, bus services will be started in all women colleges. 57 new Kasturba Gandhi schools have been opened and schemes like Mukhya Mantri Lakshmi Ladli Yojana and Mukhya Mantri Vidya Lakshmi Yojana are being run to promote girls' education.
"At least one women college will be ensured in every district of the state. In 17 districts, women college will be opened this year. Tejeshwini Yojana is being run for the girls between 12-24," the statement said.
"After its completion, electricity cab be supplied round the clock," he said.
He also thanked Prime Minister Modi for the multi model transport hub scheme which he said will influence the eastern hub widely.
He said 1,733 km roads have been connected with secondary network and in the next 3 years, 2,200 km roads will be connected with secondary network.
