Jharkhand will receive 13 of the 40 awards that will be given out by the Union Ministry of Women and Child Development for the 'Nutrition Month' campaign from September 1 to 30, 2018, an official release said Saturday.
Of the 13 awards for Jharkhand, 11 would go to Koderma district alone, while Dumka and Simdega districts will get one each, the release said.
The ministry divided the entire country into four groups, in which Jharkhand was in Group 3 comprising nine states.
The awards will be given at a function to be organized in New Delhi on October 10, the release said.
Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das congratulated Deputy Commissioner of Koderma Bhuvnesh Pratap Singh on Kodermas feat.
